An Etsy SEO tool for the two fields that decide whether a listing is ever seen: the title and the thirteen tags. It scores your title against how Etsy's search actually reads it, flags wasted tag slots and duplicated phrases, and shows where your keywords overlap instead of covering more ground.

How to use it
Four steps to a result
Paste in your listing title
Enter the title exactly as it will appear. The first forty or so characters carry the most weight in search and are what shoppers see on mobile.
Add your thirteen tags
Use every slot. An unused tag is a search query you have chosen not to appear for, and there is no cost to filling it.
Read the overlap warnings
Tags that repeat the same phrase compete with each other instead of widening your reach. The tool flags duplicates and near-duplicates so you can swap them for something new.
Apply the fixes and publish
Rework the title so the strongest phrase leads, replace the redundant tags, and update the listing. Give it a few weeks before judging the result.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Etsy combines query matching against your title, tags, categories and attributes with listing quality score, recency, shipping price, customer reviews and a shopper-habits signal. You control the matching and the quality inputs; you cannot control the personalisation layer, so optimise what you can influence.
Lead with the phrase a buyer would actually type, because the opening words carry the most weight and are all that is visible on mobile. Write for a human first — keyword-stuffed titles convert badly, and conversion feeds back into ranking, so stuffing costs you twice.
Always. Every empty slot is a search you have opted out of. Use multi-word phrases rather than single words, since shoppers search in phrases, and avoid tags that merely restate each other — thirteen variations of the same phrase reach roughly the same audience as one.
They should reinforce, not duplicate. Etsy matches queries against the combination of both, so exact repetition wastes capacity. Use the tags to cover synonyms, occasions, materials, styles and recipients that the title has no room for.
Expect several weeks. Etsy gives new and recently edited listings a temporary visibility boost, then settles based on how they actually perform. Changing a listing every few days resets that signal and prevents you from ever learning what worked — change once, then wait.
