Color Palette Generator
A colour palette generator built around harmony rules rather than luck. Pick a base colour, choose complementary, triadic, analogous or monochrome, and get a palette whose relationships hold up. Lock the swatches you like, regenerate the rest, check contrast against WCAG, and export as CSS custom properties, a Tailwind config or JSON.
This tool is built for a wider screen — scroll sideways inside the frame, or turn your device.
How to use it
Four steps to a result
Pick a base colour
Use the picker or type a hex value. This anchors the palette — every other colour is derived from its relationship to this one.
Choose a harmony rule
Analogous for calm and cohesive, complementary for contrast, triadic for vivid, monochrome for restrained. The rule decides how the hues are spaced on the wheel.
Lock and regenerate
Found a swatch worth keeping? Lock it and generate again. Locked colours stay put while the rest reshuffle around them.
Check contrast, then export
Verify text and background pairs pass WCAG AA before you commit, then export as CSS variables, a Tailwind config or JSON.
